Barcode Scanner Repair Services

Option I:    Flat Rate Scanner Repair Service Plan
 

Control your repair bills even when unexpected failure occurs with our Flat Rate Repair Program. A maintenance agreement is purchased at the time of failure and all parts and labor are covered in repairs under one rate. Bring your equipment up to OEM specs and avoid any further delays.

  • rapid turnaround time is 1 to 3 days excluding transit time
  • repair and refurbish your device according to OEM specs
  • align scan engine
  • replace worn or defective parts
  • clean and evaluate device
  • refurbish external casings
  • diagnostic evaluation

**One hour minimum. Shipping costs to our repair facility are the customers' responsibility. WincoID will pay to ship the equipment back to the customer via UPS-Ground or equivalent. Any other shipping method will be the responsibility of the customer. Contract coverage begins once payment has been received in full. Visa, Mastercard, American Express accepted. All equipment must be in good working condition prior to being placed on a maintenance agreement plan.

Option II:    Time & Material Repair Services Plan
 

This program provides repair services on your barcode scanning devices at our repair facilities as needed at a reduced rate of $95.00/hour plus normal material costs. Estimate of repair costs are provided within 24 hours of receipt of device(s).

  • normal turnaround time is 3 to 5 days excluding transit time

Option III:    Advanced Replacement Repair Services Plan
 

WincoID will arrange for a rental unit to ship for next-day delivery at a daily rental rate.

  • upon receipt of the rental unit, ship the failed unit to WincoID's scanner service facility
  • unit will be repaired and returned. Customer charged rental fee daily until replacement unit is received at WincoID (including shipping time)
  • 5-day minimum billing
  • VISA or MasterCard required

    EXCLUSIONS TO ALL REPAIR PROGRAMS

    • cable assemblies
    • external power supply
    • customer abuse (internal & external)
    • consumables
    • damage as result of fire, water, etc.

    * PROGRAM IS SUBJECT TO MANUFACTURER, MODEL, AND VOLUMES

Option IV:    Extended Warranty Program for New Scanners
 

All bar code scanning devices purchased through WincoID are eligible for our exclusive extended warranty plan. Sign up within 30 days of purchase and WincoID will process the repair of your device for a period of 5 years on hand-held laser scanners and for 3 years for all portables and SPT devices and accessories.

  • repair or replacement within 5 business days of receipt at WincoID Service Center
  • preventative maintenance evaluation of units returned
  • loaner unit provided on any unit not returned to customer within 10 business days
  • repair, alignment, adjustment and/or refurbishment to return unit to OEM specs
  • application reloading to assure unit is returned "out of box - ready to use" if applicable
  • good for original owner only

What is not covered under Extended Warranty Program?

  • units damaged due to neglect, abuse or misuse
  • replacement of wear items (triggers, keypads, displays)
  • circuit board repair caused by physical damage
  • operator error, unauthorized modification/alteration or attempted repair
  • direct lighting or electrical damage
  • other natural or man-made disasters
