The bottom portion of the label is encoded with the necessary information and is affixed to the carton or case. The top is perforated, bar coded with the same information and attached to the Traveler Form. The user scans this portion when data is sent via WAWF without having to be at the shipment container.
WAWF and UID Registry Data Submission: Submitting shipments through the WAWF web site can be done without additional software but can come at a cost. Entering large quantities of UID and especially RFID data into the web site can quickly become unmanageable with excessive wait times on slow servers and the risk of user errors can make submissions difficult. » Benefits of Software Solutions
