The H-Class RFID Ready printer enables field installable RFID "modules" that can be defined to meet the user's application(s). The RFID encoder can be added to an RFID Ready printer in the field by a Datamax authorized and factory trained technician from Winco ID. The H-Class RFID Ready printer option must be specified at the time of printer order.

Datamax offers a High Frequency (13.56 MHz) module that is ISO 15693 compliant, as well as an Ultra High Frequency (UHF) multi-protocol module supporting EPCglobal and ISO standards including Gen2.

The RFID option demonstrates the flexibility and protection against obsolescence provided by the modular design of Datamax M-Class printers.
