Electronics Assembly Labels

Labeling Solutions for Improved Processing & Packaging

An unreadable bar code label, a label that falls off or fails, can cost you money. When your labeled product is subject to high temperature, chemical exposure, prolonged exposure to environmental elements or when you have a challenging labeling application, you will want to be sure the label you choose is the right one, the very first time. Winco ID has the solution.

Labels Specifically for Electronic Applications:

  • Electronics Assembly labels designed to withstand the most demanding processes in printed circuit board production and assembly.
  • Polyimide(Kapton®) labels to withstand the high temperatures electronics manufacturing processing.
  • Durable label materials to reduce the damaging effects of Electro Static Discharge (ESD).
  • Labels to comply with the RoHS directive for lead-free manufacturing processes, EIA-standard marking and UL-listed and CSA-certified labels.
  • Preprinted labels with eye-catching warnings, graphics, logos, with room to print lot number and other variable information on demand
  • Labels for cables, wire harnesses and assemblies.

Bar code or alphanumeric identification of printed circuit boards are used for tracking production lots, warranty information, product authentication, and registration applications. Electronic assembly labels are designed to withstand the high IR & vapor phase of solder re-flow and for surface mount on either top or bottom side of the board without burning, curling, or damage to the printed output.

Winco ID is dedicated to providing the products, service and expertise to make your bar code, labeling, and tracking systems work for inventory control, compliance labeling, marking, identification of product and more. As a label manufacturer located in Nashua, NH, most of our labels are manufacturered right here in the USA.
UID Compliance Label Case Study – Compliance Solution: Customer needed to meet DoD MIL-STD-130 UID label with “funny little square mark” and needed to do it now. Solution: Winco ID knew the Military specification and provided the durable label in the mandated format. So what was the “funny little square?

Winco ID identified the square as a Data Matrix code. WIth our experience in compliance labeling, the customer had the right label material, adhesive, format and symbology – and they had it in time to pass the DoD QA inspection and make the shipment deadline. No penalty, no delays.

2D Bar Code Labeling Case Study – New Product: Label used for item tracking was not rated to withstand the higher temperature processing of 400°.Solution: Winco ID provided a new ESD-safe material rated for the higher temperatures and a bar code to fit in the 1/4″ square space.

Winco ID’s label converting group produced the label in a small quantity, printed some test samples and it was sent to the customer. It performed perfectly during the onsite testing, met their low volume requirements and need for static-safe, reliable label for tracking WIP, warranties and quality control without any disruption to their manufacturing process.
